I'm not sure why, but over the past couple of weeks my main computer's internet speed has been much slower than other devices. The photo shows download speeds. My other machine connected to the same Wi-Fi gets about 230-250 Mbps, while my phone on the same network receives around 160 Mbps (iPhone 6). I used to experience 150-170 or even 240 Mbps with my previous Wi-Fi adapter. After uninstalling everything and even wiping the computer, reinstalling Windows and updating drivers helped improve things. Today, after installing Windows updates, I'm struggling with Steam games at 5MB and watching YouTube videos. The speed test with all downloads paused shows similar issues. I don't think it's a Wi-Fi problem because my old setup averaged 100-150 Mbps before and still got the same speed. I'm confused about what's happening, especially since my new Wi-Fi adapter once gave full 250 Mbps.
You haven't reinstalled the Wi-Fi drivers following the Windows update recently.
