Connection velocity Internet performance Data transfer rate
Hi, your server appears to be functioning well despite the unusual results. The speeds you're seeing—especially the 900 MB/s from the server to PC—suggest a strong network connection. It might be due to the way traffic is routed or prioritized. Since the shared drive works fine and devices have static IPs, the issue could lie in how the traffic is being managed or filtered. Double-check firewall rules, QoS settings, or whether any application is limiting bandwidth. Let me know if you'd like help troubleshooting further!
I'm not clear on what you're asking about the difference between shared drives and servers. It seems to relate to how network speed affects performance, but there are many other factors involved. Could you clarify what specific details you're looking for regarding transfer rates, data volume, or system status?
The same document was used; certain files may take longer to transfer.
Domain - i just thought i will specify, cos I am not sure if it is a factor. I don't know what the difference between them, i thought they are the same, they both have SSDs. I was testing by copying 22GB movie, but then I installed LAN Speed Test program and it was showing the same thing, picture attached. Server is as file storage device. its not full and my PC is not full (storage). My integrated 2.5GBe card works fine as 1GBe card works fine, this 2 MB/s speed only happens with 10GBe card.
Attempt to replicate the same directory, as certain subfolders might contain numerous small files that can hinder performance.
I checked identical folders and varied ones, made new directories, tried small and large files, but the speed stayed consistent—around 3MB/s.
