You built the network in Unifi with VLAN only and then added it to the wireless/network settings each day. That matches what you described, and it should work unless you overlooked a step. Also, I just installed ten TZ270 devices today.

You have a Sonicwall firewall managing DHCP and default gateway for this new VLAN. Assuming everything is set up properly—like a correctly created subinterface—then the problem likely lies on the connection between the firewall and the end device. Are you certain all switches are using the same VLAN in their VLAN database? Generally, switches won’t forward traffic tagged to a VLAN they don’t have configured. So if you set up VLAN 10 on the firewall and access points, ensure that VLAN 10 exists on every switch along the path and that it’s allowed on all links traffic uses. It might help to check the UniFi component by configuring an access port on a switch in the same VLAN and testing with a PC connected via cable. If it works then the issue probably lies in your UniFi setup.

Thank you for your message. I see you adjusted the VLAN only on the AP port, not on the other connections. Once you set it correctly, your devices connected to a new IP and subnet right away. Appreciate your attention to detail!
