Your internet performance appears inconsistent depending on the connection method. When using your PC directly to the router, speeds drop significantly, while Ethernet and Wi-Fi connections work well. The Belkin N600 seems adequate for basic tasks but may not handle higher demands. Consider checking for network congestion, firmware updates, or interference that could affect direct connections. If speed remains low, explore optimizing settings or upgrading your hardware.

Yes, there are QoS configurations active and the connection speed is configured at 10Mbps.

It might be a problem with the cable or the particular port. Test other ports on the router and use a different cable.

Well there is a QOS setting enabled but i thought you wanted that on. I also tried all the ethernet ports on the router.

The issue seems to stem from differences in network conditions between your PC and your phone. When using Wi-Fi, your PC might experience fluctuating speeds due to interference, distance from the router, or bandwidth limitations. Your phone, possibly closer to a stronger signal or with better hardware, could maintain stable performance. This inconsistency can cause the drop in download/upload speeds you're observing.

However, as I mentioned earlier, connecting my PC straight to the modem works just fine. This is surprising me.

You might want to reset your router back to its original settings (make sure to save your configuration beforehand) and check for any firmware updates. If that fails, because the device is outdated, it could be faulty—otherwise, replacing it would be the only option.

You might want to check for a firmware update. Occasionally it resolves odd problems. Honestly, Belkin isn’t really a top choice—I’d say they’re just average routers.
