The Steam client frequently loses connections about 10 to 12 minutes after it begins. There’s minimal background activity, and your internet remains stable. The issue happens no matter the weather or whether you’re playing a game. It’s unclear what’s causing the drops.

Attempt to start the router/modem. If unsuccessful, ask for a new IP (in router settings, renew DNS).
