I've noticed some unusual issues after installing my new GPU (RX 570). My WiFi connection frequently switches from "Connected, Secured" to "Connected, No Internet" or drops entirely when I launch a game. Previously, with the iGPU, the same problem occurred when using USB devices like thumb drives, though games ran smoothly at lower frame rates. Running the Windows Network Troubleshooter while a game runs in the background often fails, reporting that "Windows couldn't detect the proxy settings." I've also observed this happening during GPU benchmark tests, such as with Unigine Heaven. Connecting to my mobile hotspot resolves these issues completely. This suggests the problem might be related to my router or modem setup. Relevant details: My USB WiFi adapter is a DWA-171 model from Gigabyte, connected on the 5GHz network. Ethernet isn't an option due to circumstances. It seems to work fine with other devices in the house. What I've tried includes restarting the modem/router, reinstalling drivers, clearing device manager entries, performing a full network reset via settings, and adjusting power options. I've also changed USB ports, set the adapter to maximum performance, disabled Wi-Fi power saving, used D-link tools, updated BIOS, and even reinstalled Windows 10. It appears the GPU might struggle under load, causing the connection to drop.

It seems your USB connection could lose power as the GPU uses more from the PCIe port or power supply. How many USB devices are currently connected? Are some doing more than just transferring data? Have you attempted to reinstall the chipset drivers on the motherboard?

The only other devices connected are my mouse and keyboard. I've reinstalled the MOBO Chipset drivers but haven't seen any improvement. I'm considering the low power PSU option, though my 450W unit meets the minimum requirement for my GPU. It also doesn't clarify why it functions perfectly with a mobile hotspot.

The resources tab isn't visible through the standard methods you mentioned. You may need to check advanced settings or contact support for assistance.

It seems like a USB adapter, perhaps a new one. You might want to try another USB port. Check your GPU in Device Manager for any issues. If you're curious about the WiFi adapter, look into which USB controller it uses.

The Realtek Gaming GbE Family Controller includes a resources tab. I initially thought the issue might be with the power supply, but it functions correctly even while using my phone for 4G.
