Hello everyone! My room is quite distant from the router, so WiFi remains unstable—decided to connect my PC via Ethernet. I ran a 30m cable and confirmed it worked before and after, everything was fine. However, I noticed the connection would suddenly drop when using multiple screens or streaming services like YouTube or Spotify. At first, I thought the cable might be damaged, but it’s happening intermittently and inconsistently. I tried running several videos or games at once without issues, yet sometimes a screen-share call caused the drop. The disconnection usually lasts under a minute, then restores itself. I found it helpful to stick with WiFi so it stays active for longer, even though it’s not ideal. I’m using my ISP device, which is reliable and delivering the advertised speed outside this problem. It seems like a configuration or device issue, especially since it’s my first time using Ethernet. Any advice would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!
