You're facing a strange problem with your SSD. It seems to vanish after heavy use, especially during write-heavy tasks like creating Docker images. The issue started after replacing the port, but now it keeps happening over time. The drive appears to be used mainly for storing infrequently updated files. The MX500 model and Asus Z170-A motherboard are involved. Could be related to wear, file system behavior, or power management.

It might be the motherboard. The computer should be completely powered off and then restarted again; simply restarting doesn't bring back the SSD.
