I have the internet linked through Ethernet to my computer. I normally experience 60 pings (acceptable in Egypt), but sometimes it drops above 300 for a while. My local area connects to a network repeater that links to an access point, due to the arrangement of my home.

Consider using a physical connection instead of relying on the Wi-Fi bridge.

Wireless connections often face interference and blockages, causing uneven bandwidth and delays. Including an extender can worsen these issues. A wired setup is usually better. If running a cable isn't feasible, remove obstacles and check the optimal frequency or channel for your setup.

Check the internet speed and type—DSL, cable, or fiber. Verify the ping from your location, especially when playing online or using services. Also, monitor the ping to your router during peak usage times.
