I recently purchased a 2.5" SSD for my laptop to increase storage capacity, knowing the motherboard could accommodate it. I also acquired a SATA cable to link the SSD to the motherboard port. The problem is that after connecting the drive, the laptop would briefly power on before shutting off. Removing the cable resolved the issue, allowing normal startup. Please note this SSD isn't a boot drive and appears to be brand new. The laptop model is an Acer Aspire 3 A315-41-R4J7.

Likely incorrect cable or improper insertion, probably not a ZIF type.
