To connect to your wireless network you'll need to manually input the network name and password. If you're unsure how to access your router or ISP gateway, that might be the issue. Also consider distance, obstructions like walls or floors, and signal strength—poor reception can prevent connection even if you see the SSID.

I access the router interface using the same login details I use for Spectrum. If the credentials remain unchanged, the issue likely lies with Spectrum’s side. I also couldn’t locate an option to adjust my router settings through their website. The laptop is positioned nearer to the router than the other connected devices, and there are no obstructions blocking the signal.

The ISP login details vary from the WiFi access information. Have you checked the Spectrum website page?

You accessed the settings from the page, but it seems the changes are only applied to one device. You might need to check the laptop’s settings directly or contact support for further help.

Navigate to the wireless section. The available options are displayed there. The laptop's WiFi adapter model is specified in the details provided.

I don’t see the Wi-Fi adapter, yet my ISP offers two separate networks via the router—one 2G and one 5G. Only the 2G network appears in the list, even though it doesn’t work, while the 5G network isn’t showing up at all.

Review the Windows Device Manager to find the wireless adapter or open the laptop and check the WiFi card label for the make/model. Both networks exist; only one radio is active at a time. Your ISP likely assigned different SSIDs to each band. If the 5GHz network isn’t visible, your adapter probably lacks a 5GHz antenna. Identifying the adapter model helps confirm this. The screenshot appears to display only the 2.4GHz details—does it include the 5GHz version? What encryption method are you employing (WPA/WPA2, AES/TKIP)?
