I checked my laptop's Wi-Fi settings and made it visible, but it still displays as a hidden network. Even with all the details entered, it keeps saying "can't connect to this network."

It remains concealed because visibility makes it vulnerable, yet still detectable. Concealing such networks weakens security but doesn’t eliminate the risk of discovery.

Check the settings to ensure visibility is enabled. If you added it accidentally, verify the correct location or option to display it.

Please specify the device you're using—model, router, or access point—and refer to the manual for guidance.

You're asking for clarification, noting that the laptop is the sole affected device.

Connect to the local network using a device with internet access, enter the IP address 192.168.1.1 in the address bar, and verify access to your router. After that, navigate to the settings to ensure it appears correctly.

It leads you to a login screen but always shows errors when entering your details, even with the right password.

Search for your router model on the provided page. If unsure, use the username "admin" and password "password." Occasionally, you may need to connect physically (though this might apply only to older devices).
