You're experiencing connection issues with your DLink DWA-131 and WiFi despite having updated drivers. The problem might be related to network settings or compatibility. Try checking your router's configuration, ensuring the correct SSID and password are entered, and verifying that your phone's hotspot is enabled and functioning properly. If needed, reset both devices to their default settings.

I think the problem might be related to the home Wi-Fi router... do you manage it?

It might still be the problem. There could be a setting on the router restricting the number of devices. Check the wireless security configuration. When your PC attempts to join, does the router display the connection attempt? Some routers provide a real-time list of connected devices.

Have you turned on mac filtering? Is the protocol version you're using unsupported for your network? Did the issue appear before or after you entered the password?

Turn off your router, as an issue occurred during a task. Reinstalling drivers resolved mac ip conflicts. Simply unplugged and plugged it back in, and it worked fine.
