In short, you're losing connection during gameplay on several platforms. It seems to occur frequently, especially in Fortnite, Rocket League, and CS:GO. Possible causes include a faulty internet cable, driver issues, or server problems. Try checking your network stability, updating drivers, and ensuring you're playing in stable servers.

I don't have access to real-time data about your internet speed. You can check it by visiting a website like speedtest.net or using your router's settings.

Similar experience, though it seems to vanish quickly—about five seconds before it reappears.

It seems like packet loss is occurring. An unstable internet connection could be the cause in several areas. The best approach is to test another Ethernet cable, a different router port, and ideally connect another device on the network to determine if the issue continues. If it does, the problem likely lies with your router or your ISP's wider area network. You might need to inform your ISP with proof if you suspect their WAN is the source.

Sure, I understand. You're considering variations in cables and want to know what differences exist. Which specific types of cables are you interested in?

For a home router setup, the difference is minimal. Cat 6 provides the quickest Ethernet connection available at a reasonable price, while Cat 5e is an alternative but might cost more and deliver lower speed. Opt for a CAT-6 cable for better performance.
