Connection functions properly via modem, but fails when using the router.
We're using Ziply Fiber and currently experiencing internet issues. The problem seems to be with the router, specifically the ASUS RT AC68U. When connected via Ethernet, devices connect but can't browse websites. Sometimes they work for searches, but links break. Plugging the laptop directly into the modem resolves the issue completely. It performs better than the previous ASUS router we had. Restarting the router didn't help. A full factory reset was attempted, but settings still show inconsistent WAN connections. After about seven years, it's unclear if a router can simply fail. Could you say goodbye?
