Hi everyone, I've been facing some internet issues lately. I'm using an Asus RT-N12+ connected to my main router, which is a Tundra Titanium-24 in repeater mode. It usually handles 6-8mb, but it's slowing down to around 70kb/s now. Problems started when I needed to reset my Asus router for better performance. My Tundra works fine, but moving it to my PC isn't possible since it's tied to the TV. I'm using an Asrock G41MH/USB 3 board and a CAT6 LAN cable. My speed test shows only 30mb/s, which isn't great.

I face identical issues with the new router not functioning in repeater mode, yet operating independently...even after swapping it with an identical model since it's a free service, and speed remains poor at times...worst of all, I can only connect when using an external antenna. Huawei B715... possibly hardware-related, might it be overheating? Or is it interference from nearby routers? It's essential to verify your own devices aren't sharing the same Wi-Fi channel, or sticking to Ethernet cables?

Are you connected via wired or wireless? If you've already attempted a reset on the ASUS, verify the cables or consider replacing the device to determine if it improves performance.
