Connection failed to Ethernet despite using the cable.
Hey everyone, I set up a new PC with those specifications and couldn<|pad|> to get the Ethernet connection working. It’s an i5 11500 (non-f), MSI H510M bomber with 8GBx2 Crucial Ballistix, XMP 3200MHz (currently at 2666MHz). The 1TB Samsung 980 SSD is in the M.2 slot, running Windows 10 Home (unactivated). OS version is 19044.1288, no GPU. I’ve used the same cable on another machine and it works fine. I tried several fixes: reset BIOS, reset network settings, reset Windows, used M.Flat to update the BIOS, and even unplugged everything before reconnecting. The RAM was initially at 3200MHz, but after powering it on the second time it dropped to 2666MHz. I’m not sure what caused this change, but I left it as is since the new Intel components are tricky. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
Transfer the files from the USB to the desktop and run the installation.
No, they are different models. The MSI H150M Pro is a newer variant, while the H150M Bomber is an older version.
It's the same again, thanks! Also, great, the drivers link is working.
