Assuming both DNS and DHCP servers are on the same router, your DNS isn't pointing to it. Try these commands: ipconfig /flushdns, ipconfig /release, ipconfig /renew. If issues persist, open network settings, click adapter properties, right-click your Wi-Fi, choose properties, set IP address manually, and confirm. You can also check the router's DHCP settings to see which DNS server it assigns.
Sounds like a DNS issue and as stated above your router is playing the role of your DNS server. If this works for your other network devices there isn't a reason it shouldn't work for your client here. Regardless you can try specifying your own DNS servers such as Cloudflare (1.1.1.1,1.0.0.1) or Google (8.8.8.8,8.8.4.4) and see if the behavior changes.
You can connect it by plugging it directly into the provided cable.
You're facing an issue with your adapters not connecting. The troubleshooting indicates a problem with the DNS server not responding.
Check if you're using the built-in Windows driver or your adapter's specific driver. Confirm whether the connection is USB or PCI_e.
