My Wifi works fine but my Ethernet connected PC keeps dropping connection intermittently. I changed The Ethernet but same thing happens so it has to be my PC right? this just randomly started happening a week ago any help would be appreciated.

Updated drivers? This system is a newer model. The router appears to be older. There are several devices connected to the network.

Do you have a different device you can connect through Ethernet? Otherwise, check if your network card's driver is updated (look it up on your motherboard's support site).

Updated the router and network cards on the PC, which is about four years old with an AM3 motherboard. The router feels new, and there are around six or seven devices connected to the network.

NICs are indeed network adapters, correct? I looked in Device Manager and confirmed they’re current, but I don’t have another PC to test.

Does only your computer seem to have trouble? Are you running Firefox? The latest Firefox update triggered similar problems for me. I’m using NordVPN’s DNS servers and had to turn off Firefox’s DNS caching. It’s possible this isn’t your concern, but I wanted to check it out just in case.

Your PC seems to work fine, but other gadgets connect wirelessly without issues. I suspect Firefox isn’t the problem—your ping to Google shows instability, and online games become unresponsive. You can only check the connection periodically.

I attempted a DNS flush and changed the Ethernet cable to verify its functionality.
