Looking for driver updates. It seems the network driver might be faulty or the adapter could be damaged. I'll try the driver first, as it often resolves such problems. Also, test the same Ethernet cable on other devices to confirm it's functioning properly.

I've inspected the cable and refreshed the drivers. If nothing functions, you might still receive a LAN card.

If I were you, I’d try a live CD of Linux to confirm it’s not a Windows problem. Windows 10 can be unpredictable. Sometimes after rebooting, my network card stops working and I have to restart again. If that doesn’t work, get a new card—just make sure it’s a Gigabit model, since Intel makes solid ones.

Before purchasing anything, I would perform a --> Clean Installation of Windows. You might need to store your files on a USB drive containing the items you require, such as photos and music. Good luck!

Typically the process involves checking cables, switching ports on the router or switch, updating software drivers or the operating system, and finally using a physical adapter. A live CD of Ubuntu can assist in identifying the software issue.

I tried it on another PC and it functioned smoothly, without any issues. I’m planning to switch to LiveCD soon. I’ll be using a fresh cable then.
