I connect to a Windows 11 Pro machine via Remote Desktop Client. I observe that each time I connect and copy files from a NAS to the Windows box, the connection drops and I must wait until the transfer finishes. I suspect the large file size is straining the network link and causing the RDP client to disconnect. Is there a solution to this issue?

Review the LOG files closely. These disconnections are unusual. My backup machine runs Veeam, and I perform multiple tasks simultaneously—SQL dumps, rsync to offsite, copying large files at high speeds, and using RDP for remote access. I also switch between workstations via LAN, using Firefox, Thunderbird, and connecting to others through RDP. The system is a 10-year-old i7-67xx with 32 GB RAM and an SSD.
