I’ve faced this problem for months—initially my game didn’t handle DP output well, so I switched to HDMI and it worked smoothly for about five hours. I then tried using DisplayPort again, but it lost signal and I had to shut down the PC manually. I’ve tested various fixes like lowering the GPU clock speed, adjusting registry settings, changing refresh rates, and more. My guess is it’s either a GPU or power supply issue, but I couldn’t test it myself, so I had it checked by a shop. Now it’s back to the same problem. I’m considering the PSU might be the culprit, especially since the GPU fans seem to overheat when the signal drops.

Have you checked for updated GPU drivers? Also, it would be useful to understand your GPU and PSU.

The GPU is a Zotac 2060 and the PSU is an NZXT 750 Gold IRC.

It looks like there might be an issue with the GPU, do you have another one available to try?

The repair shop said everything was fine according to their systems, but that’s confusing since I’m still unsure what happened

I also tested it on my second screen and encountered the same problem.
