I'm using my laptop as my primary computer right now, an Acer Predator Triton 700. Recently, the internet connection on my laptop drops for about 5 to 10 seconds, though it doesn't cause game interruptions since it recovers quickly. I've updated the router and installed both Killer drivers for Wi-Fi and wired connections, but it's still frustrating. I'm unsure what to do next.

Have you checked if restarting your cable modem helps? Did you install the latest network drivers? Device Manager/right-click Ethernet connection/update driver

I restart the router daily. Usually I visit Killer's site for the drivers, but I attempted right-click > updating them and it reported an update available. I'll check if that resolves the issue.

Do you also have the Killer network software or control panel set up? If yes, remove it and just install the basic drivers. I’m not claiming it’s perfect, but there seems to be more issues than advantages, so I chose to skip the Killer center during my Windows clean install.
