My power supply has the 8+8 12V port. My motherboard is B550M Steel Legend with 8+4 12V. I need to know if it's okay to connect all the ports to the board. Thanks for your help—I'm not very good with English.

Typically one of the eight connections can be detached into four pairs, otherwise remove it and use just four pins.

It should work fine with any CPU as long as you connect all the required pins.
