Hey everyone, in short I’m turning my PC into a gaming server machine and want it to be hidden in a corner of my room. I’m not super tech-savvy, even for LAN stuff, and I need simple advice. I’m okay with basic tech terms, just clear explanations. TL;DR: want to connect another PC over LAN without using file access. Let me know if I’m off the mark!

Current OS: Windows with RDP and Linux with SSH. To enable RDP in Windows, go to sysdm.cpl and adjust the remote settings (run it via Run).

You're running Windows 10 on both devices.

Activate RDP then you'll be able to connect it remotely using remote desktop.
