It's fine to connect games via Ethernet or LAN on a server. Just make sure your setup supports it and follows any security rules. Let me know if you need tips!

It's not that big of a deal since a hard drive reads at around 160MB per second, which equals about 1.28Gb/s. I'm sure your connection isn't fast enough to handle it for hours.

Relies on how "access" is understood. Loading seems fine. Streaming looks likely. Running might depend on @kelvinhall05’s comment.

In older titles it works well, yet modern releases would require such a huge investment that it becomes impractical, making it uneconomical.

It relies on the data being transmitted. For example, a LAN MMO could function over the internet if latency stays low. Streaming in/out online generally works, though lag is significant except under ideal settings. Ethernet performs reliably. UNIX systems have supported this for three decades. The setup matters greatly.

It seems to depend on the specific situation. We only have the terms "access" and "ethernet." We need more details about what is being referred to—connectivity type, program use, and network configuration.

I recall it vividly—the days when noisy modems emitted constant beeps and buzzes, delivering a sluggish internet experience.
