Sure, I understand. The issue is I can't reach it when the Wi-Fi card is active, but it works when I use the Ethernet directly.

Right now I'm connecting to the NAS using the Wi-Fi card without it. It might be related to Windows.

The setup involves connecting to different networks—192.168.1.0 and 192.168.2.0—or possibly sharing a single network. Using IP addresses for servers can provide more stable connections than relying on hostnames. If you enter "//192.168.2.X" in the navigation bar, it may allow access to both networks or just one of them.

I can quickly reach the NAS web interface using 192.168.2.20, but not when the Wi-Fi card is active at 192.168.1.1. I’m still having trouble getting to the NAS drive even though both networks are connected.

Which router is linked to the FreeNAS server? Are you setting it up as a wireless access point or a network switch?

I had no clue, just connected the modem and prayed it works, because I thought I was up to something, you know?

I understand the issue with the network setup. The second router should be replaced with a switch so all devices share the same subnet and problems are resolved.

Yes, if you also use that router as an access point for Wi-Fi, you can attempt to switch it to AP mode. However, since you mentioned it didn’t work, you could instead disable DHCP and assign a static LAN IP from the same range as the first router. Then move the Ethernet port connected to the first router from the WAN port to a LAN port. If you share your router models, we can offer more specific guidance.

I considered setting up the router as a switch, though my experience in that area is still modest.

I've handled this before, and based on the router configuration it's not too complicated.
