Even at 10Mbps, if the cable passes through a conduit to your home, it could still work as a pull cable for installing new twisted pair. The main concern would be getting it stuck, so opt for a lightweight yet durable tape that won’t snag easily.

A plastic bag secured with a zip and tied to a string, combined with a powerful vacuum, typically speeds up conduit pulling.

I assumed I understood where the svv16 cable was entering my home. Actually, I’m not sure. Where exactly does this cable get installed in the house? Jr45 cable locators aren’t very reliable... Do you have better alternatives?
