You're looking for a stable internet connection for at least one camera. You've already explored Wi-Fi, satellite dish, and powerline options, which didn't work well. The cable you found is solid but not twisted, which might affect performance. With the new adapter arriving soon, you could try DIY solutions using the 16-color cable. Other ideas include checking for obstructions, testing different router placements, or considering a wired connection if possible.

Which Wi-Fi network were you attempting to connect to? The question refers to the range or signal strength of a nanostation using a parabolic dish.

I used an Ubiquiti Lite Beam M5 on the roof of my house. It functioned well for about four months until a storm damaged it. I attempted reinstallation, but it no longer works. The coverage was roughly 80 meters, though trees interfered along the way.

And during my use of the lite beam m5, the link would sometimes disconnect.

PoE camera with one Ethernet cable works well, handling both power and connectivity within the 100-meter range. Ubiquiti wireless might be too much for just one camera. Do you already have a camera installed? Is there an underground conduit available? Can you bury another cable beneath the ground?

I plan to operate at that cable speed of 10Mbit, it should work with any setup and is suitable for a camera.

I’d enjoy doing an UTP there… My mom, who loves gardening, isn’t too keen. The camera is a Reolink model with Wi-Fi.
