Hello, your system seems to be working well during the pre-build test. For the 4-pin connector next to the 8-pin one, you don’t need to use it unless you plan to install a specific component there. Since you haven’t used it in testing, just leave it unplugged or keep it disconnected.
The 8pin CPU power cable supports around 340W, and the socket typically handles a bit more. Few CPUs exceed this even when overclocked. Which CPU are you using?
If you need a strong boost with liquid nitrogen, sure. Otherwise, it's not necessary.
The 4-pin connector is intended for extra power during overclocking, though as mentioned earlier, it's mainly used for very high-end overclocking. The 8-pin connector can handle regular overclocking without exceeding its limits under typical cooling conditions.
