I plugged in the Ethernet cable, but no internet arrived. Tested three working cables—confirmed they work on another PC. Modem/router isn’t the problem; tried all ports, including one my brother uses and he gets internet. Downloaded Gigabyte drivers, used the disc, nothing changed. Tried everything possible: restarted PC, changed registry, set Proxy Enable to 0. Specifics: Windows 10 Home, version 1709, i5-6600k, GTX 1070, WD Black 2TB, SansDisk 240GB SSD.

When connected, do the lights at the port stay lit or turn off? Also, consider launching Command Prompt with admin privileges and executing ip release and renew.
