I don't get it either. The brand name is unclear. You're using a PCIE with a 6-port female pin for power, an 8-port female connector, a riser board to link the PCU or CPU, and a cable that resembles HDMI but isn't. The other end goes into the mini PC, and it looks like a chip—do you need to add it to the N.2 chip inside or use your SSD N.2 instead? This should help clarify things.

If you believe you've found all the ports and connections, what's preventing you from testing it?
I don't see this functioning well in terms of understanding how to connect it, let alone fixing issues when it doesn't work right away. Generally, systems aren't built with these features in mind and are mainly budget-friendly options for upgrading, especially for older laptops used for gaming.
Your intention to use it for mining isn't practical. For the cost of that adapter, you probably could have bought a basic PC to connect the GPU yourself.
