This resembles a third post in a week about using two routers to act as two access points. Is this becoming widespread? The idea being presented isn’t a mesh network at all. Mesh works by letting wireless APs connect directly via radio to boost signals in hard-to-reach areas. For multiple APs in a home, skip the hype and invest in simple wired routers like Edgerouter, MikroTik, or pfSense. You can find good options for around $50, and each access point typically costs $70–80. If you have the ability to run cables, do it. If not, stick with wired connections. Don’t rely on wireless repeaters—those are just another way to call mesh.
