I have Linux Mint on a USB drive and I want to test it out. I tried placing it at the top of the boot sequence and made sure all first boot options were set to the USB, but when it started I didn<|pad|> to not see an image. I heard a sound but still couldn<|pad|> to load it. I had to force shut down my PC and now I’m back in Windows. Thanks a lot.
If the laptop starts up correctly, access the BIOS settings and adjust the boot order to place the hard drive at the very end of the priority list.
This mint installation image was created recently; you may want to try a new download and format.
