Mobo features a ROGStrix B650-A board with a CPU power connector in the top left corner. It has 12 pins—8 plus 4. The standard setup uses 8 pins, while the extra 4 are for overclocking support. I used a breakaway 4+4 pin adapter. However, on the PSU there’s no single locking slot; each of the four 4+4 pins must be inserted individually. On the other side, the CPU connector is connected via the MOBO manual and the CPU itself is plugged in as shown.

Eh, even then you don't need the extra 4 pin. The single 8 pin can handle nearly 400W, and unless you're using a 7950X on LN2 you're not gonna get anywhere near that. The extra 4 pin I'd consider there more for marketing purposes than it is to actually be useful. If you do want to plug it in, the split end connects to your motherboard, not the PSU. I wouldn't bother though.
