You're planning to lay roughly 330 feet of Cat6 Ethernet underground, using a router, cable, and PoE switch to reach an access point. This setup is feasible if you ensure proper shielding, grounding, and cable management for reliable performance.

You're asking about connecting a router directly to an underground cable. It's better to route it straight to the underground cable if possible. Using an underground-rated cable is essential to prevent damage and ensure longevity.

You meant the cable should connect from the router to the underground location. It will also use PVC piping, not just a direct run through the ground beneath you.

Sure, I get what you meant, but I want to avoid making assumptions about how networking works. It seems like you're considering a straightforward setup. If you already have an access point at the end, it might actually be easier to avoid PoE instead of complicating things further.

I’m focusing on the part without the injector since I also need a PC or two there, and a switch would be ideal.
