Hello everyone, I have a query. I already placed a pre-order for a physical copy of Assassin's Creed Unity at a nearby game store. I'm wondering if it's possible to connect the game to Steam so I can purchase the season pass later. Do I need the game on Steam, or can I buy the pass with my physical copy? Thank you in advance.

Typically, most shopping games link to Steam. However, all the Ubisoft titles I own from stores only work on Uplay, which is disappointing.

Initially it stayed local, but they moved it worldwide afterward. Unless they made another adjustment.

Thanks for the responses. However, regarding the game, when I opened Steam earlier today, the Assassin's Creed Unity ad appeared alongside it. This makes me believe the game remains available on Steam. But the price is too steep compared to the physical copy I ordered in advance. That’s why I didn’t purchase from Steam.
