I'm not sure where to seek further help... I decided to try this. The situation... I have five render boxes connected to our network, all on Windows 7, and the main server is a Mac version 10.11: "El Capitan." I made a .bat file and added it to startup with the command "net use \\LS-server\ls_work /user:render render." It worked before, but not anymore. I recall changing a registry setting to fix compatibility issues with older clients. After the update, the render boxes stopped connecting automatically. I know I had to adjust the registry key LmCompatibilityLevel in HKLM\System\CurrentControlSet\Control\lsa to 3, but it seemed to work until the change. Interestingly, when I connect remotely and open Windows Explorer, it shows up as a login window if I enter the correct credentials. What could be wrong with the auto-login feature? Any suggestions?

It looks like no one can help you right now. Would you like me to direct you to another forum where this information might be available?
