I purchased my initial OTG cable from MicroCenter via a salesperson. I described my requirements clearly, and he suggested the specific cable I bought. It turned out to be suitable only for connections to my Old Nexsus 7-2013, not for my Nokia G 300 or external HD. I realized I needed an OTG-C cable. I have been browsing the internet and noticed extremely low prices—around $2.47 with tax excluded and free shipping—but reaching up to $35. I just need a straightforward cable that works with my Nokia, eventually my external HD, and my desktop. The cheapest option I found was on Ebay, and the feedback from sellers was very positive, and the prices were attractive. It’s likely the tax would increase the cost to about $5 or more, which might exceed the selling price. I have bought from Ebay before without issues. How can I be certain it will work with my devices, not just based on a picture?
