I'm struggling to understand what's happening. The system feels unstable with frequent freezes, especially when typing or using the mouse. It seems like the desktop stalls briefly, making it look like an overclock, but the mouse still works afterward. When I type, the cursor moves normally, but text doesn't appear for a short time before everything loads again. Gaming runs smoothly until it crashes, causing frame drops and VR tracking issues. The task manager shows no significant spikes. In VR, Steam Compositor highlights CPU spikes leading to major frame loss. I've changed the motherboard, RAM, power supply, and SSD, but the processor remains unchanged. I'm running a 3600 with an H100i on an ASUS Prime X570P, all updated with 32GB of 3200MHz RAM, a M.2 SSD from Corsair CX700M, and a GTX 1080. It's becoming unreliable. I've kept BIOS settings default, only installed the DRAM module, and reinstalled Windows multiple times using Ryzen Master. I've tried switching to a different M.2 SSD type. I'm running out of options and considering a replacement before replacing the processor.

It seems the GPU driver might be problematic. A CPU issue wouldn't typically lead to such behavior while loading games.

I've checked it multiple times too. I've tested various video cards from both AMD and NVIDIA, but nothing helped. The issue seems to show up in the BIOS as well. Status bars are slowing down during menu changes, and highlighted text lingers for a moment. I ran another optimized defaults setup and tweaked a few random settings I found online, hoping it would make a difference.

You don't have to rely on third-party tools to achieve what Windows can do. Simply remove the drivers for your GPU from the control panel, delete nvidia geforce if you're using an NVIDIA card, or uninstall AMD Radeon software if you have an AMD GPU, then restart your system.

Maybe increase the voltage a bit? The chip might struggle at standard clocks, so consider returning it if that’s true. Using DDU drivers seems to help. It functions, though manually adjusting could be risky and unnecessary.

Sure, just to clarify—this doesn't address anything at all.

I'll give it another shot. So far I've set the fabric frequency to 1600 in the BIOS to align with the RAM, and I haven't encountered any issues yet. It's been roughly five minutes so far.

The delay might stem from various factors. First, verify that all software is current, along with your graphics card, operating system, and BIOS settings.

I've reinstalled and updated most parts multiple times now. It's essentially the same setup as a hanging core with a bad OC, though I've kept everything at the default level. The RAM remains unchanged.

Check the task manager for detailed information on processor and memory usage rates.
