Hello, I'm trying to understand the CPU temperature readings. Some people say the FX 6300 model has a reading around 57°C, while the one on top shows 64°C on the motherboard. Which one is accurate? I want to stay below 65°C. This is based on the screenshot you shared.

The motherboard display shows a MOSFET or north bridge temperature, which likely isn't your CPU temperature. The accurate setting should be the 57C.

The motherboard display shows a MOSFET or north bridge temperature. It seems unrelated to your CPU temperatures. The accurate setting should be the 57C.

Are you using the stock cooler? I'm using the DEEPCOOL GAMMAXX 200T, which isn't ideal but at least it's better than the stock one.

It seems like you're checking if increasing the frequency safely is possible. Let's see what the results show.

You're unlikely to notice significant gains relative to the potential dangers.
