Stablity tests are quick and differ from burn-in tests. For a thermal past, aim for a less aggressive program to maintain about 90% stability for a day. If you need full reliability on a business PC, the longer test is justified. Prime95 should work well, and using speedfan helps monitor temperatures.

Aida64 needs 24 hours plus an OCCD setup for overnight, that should cover it well.

Thanks for your feedback! Is this general test equivalent to ensuring stability for continuous daily use? I suspect some users push the limits and may not prioritize long-term reliability. I might be mistaken—I posted this question first!
By the way, I've heard from many experts (including a LinuxTechTips contributor and an Intel thermal specialist) that the latest Prime95 versions act as "power viruses," potentially harming hardware by overworking it. Some older releases are still safe, though, and perhaps certain newer features could affect stability. Which version are you asking about?

Prime95 is likely configured for blending tests. Speedfan should be running, and you can proceed by clicking OK. Time the test for three minutes to ensure it stays under 80°C.
