Configuring Cloudflare DNS on your Asus router
Hi, I tried Cloudflare's DNS with my Asus RT-N18U router and got mixed up in the settings. I have two DNS options: one for WAN and another for DHCP. When I switched the WAN setting to manual and entered both IPs (1.1.1.1 and 1.0.0.1), nothing changed on my device. However, when I used only the primary DNS (1.1.1.1) in DHCP settings, it showed up as the main DNS on my phone and PC. It seems I might need to double-check the order or configuration. Let me know if you need help!
For checking your DNS settings, I suggest using dnsleaktest.com. During the tests, you should notice Cloudflare appearing as your DNS provider, just like shown in the image above. The IP addresses may vary.
