Configure your ISP router and set up the device properly.
Are you wondering if using a different Wi-Fi name and password from your ISP router affects performance? Your devices show unusual behavior on the ISP network but work fine with another setup. The connection speed improves significantly with a different configuration.
It seems okay now. In router mode it sounds like a Wi-Fi problem, are you using 5GHz? If yes, double-check you're not using a DFS channel and confirm your Wi-Fi country settings are correct to avoid interference with essential services. I checked an Archer C6 emulator and noticed the DHCP server stays active when AP mode is enabled, which might explain the internet outage. Make sure the DHCP server is off. On the Network tab under LAN, assign your router an IP in the same range as your ISP router (like 192.168.x.250) and set the Default Gateway to your ISP's IP. Use a subnet mask like 255.255.255.0 by default. When AP mode is active and the internet stops working, try switching the cable from WAN to LAN or vice versa.
