I use this platform for my problems with Microsoft tools and several other sites struggle as much. My main concern is setting up Windows Hello Face. After clicking "Set up," it prompts for a pin and I get an error saying "Windows could not turn on camera." I'm using the 1909 update, while my system still works fine with the 1903 version. I know the camera functions, but I can't find any drivers for my Dell Inspiron 5570. I really need assistance getting this to function properly.
Consider visiting https://support.dell.com for automatic driver updates. Your camera might be blocked by another app preventing Windows from accessing it simultaneously. Ensure no other programs—like Skype or Teams—are running. It’s also likely Windows isn’t permitted to view the webcam; refer to this guide: https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/help...windows-10
Windows Hello Face compatibility varies by camera model. https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/windows...entication To enable camera use, open the Camera Privacy settings, ensure Camera Access is turned on, and allow apps to access the camera.
When it doesn't work, the warning appears clearly in red under Windows Hello. If it fails elsewhere, the problem likely relates to permissions rather than functionality.
You're seeing everything fine with OBS, but you're still unsure why.
Usually it will inform you of incompatibility and stop the setup. Check this thread for more information: https://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/wind...c0c71ca28f
