I set up my VPN server using the provided instructions. However, I’m having trouble redirecting all internet traffic through it. I checked the manual but didn’t find any guidance. Could someone assist me with this?

In my experience, after connecting to your VPN server, every data flows through it automatically. @TopHatProductions115 and I managed to join a Minecraft LAN even though we're in different states using Softether in this way.

The problem involves understanding how SoftEther works with Dynamic DNS and port forwarding. Typically, it provides a changing IP address that you input into your VPN client or use your public IP. It's important to ensure your router is configured to forward the necessary ports so the VPN services are accessible from the internet.

I'm working on setting up a way to redirect all internet activity from a client PC using SoftEther Client, sending it through a VPN server that connects to the internet. This should allow access to external resources securely.

Have you considered using SoftEther's VPN client? It could simplify the setup process.

Confirming the suggestion, as the guide recommended Windows' native client, but since you're using SoftEther's version, I might be able to assist.

I configured it almost the same way, except OpenVPN was enabled and the client used their own. All data now travels through the VPN. Consider testing the OpenVPN client first; if issues persist, review SoftEther settings and reset them before retrying. I don’t recall the exact location of the setting, but you should check the box for OpenVPN server in SoftEther.

@TopHatProductions115 Just found it hard to get Windows 10 client running, so I switched to SoftEther VPN for a simpler setup. Your advice means a lot! @Scheer I’m done with OpenVPN, configs were really frustrating.
