After watching the “some ordinary gamers” tutorial on building a Linux machine with a gaming VM and GPU, I decided to try it myself. I’ve been working on the project independently, using an Intel 10700k as the host system and a 2070 for the Windows VM. I’m facing issues with getting the drivers for the NVIDIA card to function properly, even though Manjaro automatically installs Intel NVIDIA hybrid drivers. I was wondering if it’s possible to isolate these devices so the GPU can be passed through. I’m just starting with Linux, so please don’t think this is too complicated.
Additionally, whenever I connect my 1440p 144Hz monitor to the Intel IGPU via DP, the screen begins to flicker. However, once I lower the refresh rate to 120, it returns to normal. This issue occurs across different operating systems—Linux, Windows, and even in the BIOS.
