Hello everyone !
This is my second attempt at setting up my own system. I spend a lot of time using 3D software, so this build was the one I came up with. This time I want to make it easier to upgrade the different parts.
The majority of the budget (~1800-2000€) is allocated to the CPU and GPU, so I'm focusing on getting a solid case and motherboard.
I was also curious if it wasn't feasible to boost performance within the same budget by using an SLI motherboard, allowing me to connect two 4060s instead of just one 4070.

Welcome to the forums, newcomer! I’d recommend a dual channel DDR5-6000MHz or higher RAM setup, with a larger capacity like 32GB, which would be advantageous in the long term. You’re missing a PSU in your build. On another note, please format your thread with the information requested here: *How to Ask for New Build or Upgrade Advice* Initially, it’s important to acknowledge where such respect is warranted—this adaptation comes from the Animal’s *How To Ask For New Build Advice* post. I made this change since many users are currently seeking upgrade guidance both on this site and in CPU forums, and I believe... forums. would be helpful if it assists in customizing your build. Include your location, budget, and preferred purchasing site. A PCPartPicker link can really help with sourcing and availability.

I wouldn't think about SLI unless you're constructing a top-tier setup with water-cooled GPUs. I've tried both Crossfire using AMD and SLI with Nvidia. It's really tough to prevent the top card from getting too hot since the air intake is just a few millimeters away from the GPU's hot circuit board. For managing heat, it's usually better to use one strong card.
