Following the Windows 10 anniversary update, I'm having trouble setting up the home group for my PCs. Could anyone assist? Should I try creating a LAN group or HomeGroup instead? If not, could you recommend some free software that works well for file sharing or managing a homegroup? Thanks, Jay Soni (Oh_BoY)

You're referring to homegroup for setting up a network file share. It's about creating a directory on your local machine and configuring it so other devices can access it through a shared folder.

It seems the system is displaying an error about your computers not responding.

Use IP addresses instead of hostnames and enter locations directly. Could work.
