Hey everyone! Just wrapped up assembling my PC and planning two monitor configurations. With the motherboard supporting DP, HDMI, and R5 5600G, everything looks good. But the HDMI-to-DVI adapter connection for the older monitor isn’t showing anything and isn’t listed in Device Manager. I’ve updated all the drivers recently. Any advice would be greatly appreciated! My setup includes: Ryzen 5 5600G, MSI MPG B550 Gaming Plus, 16GB RAM at 3733MHz, plus plenty of storage.

Would you like to test a different adapter? Or perhaps switch to another monitor? If you're confident the second monitor is functioning, the issue is probably with the adapter.

I had it before, but it functioned the last time I tried. I’ll look it over and get back to you. Appreciate your response.

It turns out the adapter stopped working. I just tried it on my old computer, and it never occurred to me it could fail. Thanks a lot!
